The Mission Cincinnati is seeking to hire a church planting resident to join our team sometime mid-2026.  Interested candidates are encouraged to thoroughly and prayerfully review the Church Profile & Position Description to determine whether they would be a good fit and have a sense of call.  After review, you are invited to fill out the application (also linked below) and submit it by no later than April 15th, 2026.

Application Process

  • Interested candidates should thoroughly and prayerfully review the Church Profile & Position Description (linked below) to determine fit and sense of call for the position.

  • After review, please submit the position application (also linked below) by no later than April 15th 2026.

  • Applications will be reviewed by our team on a rolling basis.  You can expect to hear back from us within 1 week of receipt of application.  If we do not believe you are a fit, you will still receive an email thanking you for your application and interest.  If we believe you may be a fit, we will reach out to set up an interview and other next steps.

  • Our hope is to identify a successful candidate we at the local level desire to hire for the position.  This candidate will then be invited to complete a church planter assessment with our diocese the Anglican Diocese of the Great Lakes.

  • If the successful candidate is green-lit as a potential planter through the ADGL, they will be invited to formally join our staff and begin employment in mid-2026, hopefully before September.

  • The exact timeline of the employment start date is subject to change based on the timeline of local interviews and diocesan assessment.

  • If you have any questions about the position, the application, or the process, please reach out to Fr. William Eavenson at william@missioncincinnati.org.
