Annual Meeting 2026

What Time Is the Annual Meeting?

The Annual Meeting will begin approximately 15 minutes after the conclusion of the worship service on Sunday, February 22nd, 2026. The meeting will begin at 11:30 AM at the earliest or 11:45 AM at the latest. The meeting will last NO LONGER THAN 1 HOUR, so you can plan to be done by no later than 12:45 PM.

Where Is the Annual Meeting?

The Meeting will take place in the sanctuary.

What Should I Know About Check-In?

2 Check In Tables will be setup in the back of the sanctuary when worship concludes. All meeting attendees will need to check in at one of these tables before the meeting. One table will be marked for last names A-L and the second for last names M-Z. All voting members will receive a blue folder including meeting packet with printed reports and your voting ballot. All non-voting members will receive a copy of the meeting packet.

What Should I Know About Food?

We will have a light lunch provided for all adult members who have RSVPd for the meeting. The lunch will be setup on the table in the hallway and will include a deli croissant sandwich, bag of chips, veggie tray, fruit tray, cookies, and a water bottle. We would recommend that you exit the sanctuary after service, grab your food in the hallway, and then return to the sanctuary to check in prior to the meeting. We will have a couple special meals reserved for those who have shared their allergy restrictions with us. Parents are welcome to pack their own lunches for children, however we should also have enough food if you want to fix a plate of the above items for your child before dropping them off in childcare. There will also be bagels available in the lounge if this is preferable.

What Should I Know About Childcare?

We will be providing 2 childcare spaces for families who have requested childcare during the Annual Meeting. At the service’s conclusion, children under 4 years old can be dropped off in the Nursery room. Children 4 and older can be dropped off in the Godly Play room. Each room will be staffed with 2 ministry-safe certified and background checked child care workers. If you have any questions about childcare, please contact Christine Mitchell at christine@missioncincinnati.org. You can pick up your children in their respective rooms after the meeting’s conclusion.

What Will Be Discussed At the Annual Meeting?

The Annual Meeting will include voting to approve or disapprove candidates to join our 2026 Vestry slate. Our treasurer will provide an update on our church’s current financial position, 2025 financial performance, and 2026 ministry budget. We will share ministry reports from each Mission staff member highlighting what God has done over the past year. We will conclude by welcoming new Vestry members and celebrating our Vestry members who are rolling off after the conclusion of their term.
