Here’s What’s Coming Up & Going on in the Life of our Church This Fall
Our hope is not that anyone would try to do everything, but that everyone might find something to help you connect and grow in relationship both with Jesus and with others this fall.
Regional Small Groups | meeting mid-September - November
Small groups meet in homes across the city for food, prayer, and spiritual conversation based on our Sunday Creed sermon series. Small groups are how we grow deeper in our relationships with Jesus and closer in our friendships with each other at The Mission. Sign Up for a group by Sunday 9/13.
Morning Prayer - Tuesdays | 7:15 AM | Zoom
Come pray the Daily Office from the Book of Common Prayer together with others as engage readings from the lectionary and offer a space for you to lift your own prayers in community. We’ll gather weekly on Zoom staring in mid-September. Zoom link will be posted here once the day is finalized.
Bible Study on the Gospel of John Study
Sundays 9/20 - 11/1 | 830-930 AM | upstairs conference room
Join Revs. Stocky Wulsin & Kristen Yates as we study 3 chapters of John’s Gospel each week. Sessions will include reading of the text and then diving more deeply into one area of focus. Participants will be encouraged and challenged by the Scriptures in their own lives and walk away with new tools for how to read the Bible on your own.
Women’s Prayer Meetup
Mondays 9 AM starting 9/14 | church nursery
A space for women of all life-stages to meet for conversation & prayer. Littles welcome for play time.
Housemoot 2026
Saturday Oct. 3rd | 5-8 PM | Church Sanctuary
Join in an evening of community, feasting, and creativity. We’ll cater the main course from Eli’s barbecue and ask everyone to bring a side and dessert.
Modern life isolates us in two directions at once. We are over-convenienced and under-imposed-upon. But in all that abundance, something is missing. We were made to share space and time with one another—to work, eat, create, and celebrate together. We were made for lives in which the circles of our existence overlap and nourish each other: work, family, church, friendship, creativity, and place. What might it look like to begin weaving those circles together again?

Fall Baptism Opportunity | Sunday Nov. 1st in worship
The next opportunity to receive the sacrament of Baptism will be on All Saints’ Day, Sunday November 1st during worship. If you would like to be baptized or to have your child/children baptized, please register using the link below by October 1st so that our pastors can walk with you in preparation. The Mission Cincinnati recognizes both believers’ and infant baptism as valid and Scripturally-based forms of the sacrament. Women’s Retreat
November 6th - 8th | Snug Hollow Farm, Irvine KY
Join the women of the Mission for a weekend of rest, recreation, and relationship building as we step away from normal rhythms of life to connect with God and each other. Snug Hollow is an organic farm that boasts 300 acres of babbling creeks, glorious wildflowers, abundant wildlife, wooded mountainsides and the simplicity of country life both past and present. Annual Friendsgiving Celebration
Saturday, November 14th | 4 - 7 PM
Join us for a fall party for members of our church and community! The church will cater some main dishes, and you are invited to bring your favorite seasonal sides, desserts, appetizers, and drinks to share with others. We’ll have a special craft table for kids and dinner will be followed by a fire-pit complete with s’mores making. Friends and family and welcome to attend! Sign Ups and dish registry will be available by October 1st!
