Summer Ministry Offerings at The Mission Cincinnati

This summer, we've created a variety of spaces for us to play together, pray together, and grow in friendship with one another and relationship with God. Our hope in making these offerings available is NOT that you would try to do EVERYTHING, but that everyONE would find SOMEthing life-giving to connect with.

Dinners for 9

7 of our Mission households will be opening their homes for evenings (or mornings!) of food, fun and fellowship. These are great spaces to meet folks in the church you haven’t met yet and to deepen relationships with others you’ve met in passing. Please sign up for no more than 2 Dinners for 9 to allow others space to attend. Full calendar and sign ups below!

Mission Socials

In addition to Dinners for 9, this summer, we’ve added once/month spaces that are open to anyone and everyone to come and connect with others! These are perfect spaces to invite family and friends!

Our 3 Mission Socials are:

Saturday, June 13th | 4-7 PM - Games, Dinner, Campfire & S’mores at the Church
Saturday, July 18th | 7:30 AM (carpool meet up at the church) 10 AM meet at the trail - Red River Gorge Day Hike + Miguel’s Pizza
Friday, August 7th | 7 PM - Dinner, Ice Cream & Hang at Factory 52

Weekly Morning Prayer

MONDAYS 7:30 AM starting June 8th

Each week of the summer a different member of our clergy or lay leadership will host Morning Prayer. The first Monday of each month, we'll gather in-person at the church. The other weeks will be on Zoom so you can join from anywhere. You can sign up to receive a scheduled email with the zoom link that will go out every Monday before each session begins. Norwood Prayer Walk

SATURDAY JUNE 20th - 10 AM

Now that we've signed a long-term lease in our building at GUMC, we want to seek God's heart for how He's leading us to be faithfully present in the community our church calls home. We'll meet at the church and visit spaces in our community including Xavier University, Williams Ave. Elementary school, For the Life of the World Cafe, Lydia's House, and more praying into where and how the Lord might be inviting us to get involved beyond the 4 walls of our church. Afterwards, we'll gather for lunch at Cancun Mexican Grill to share what we heard and saw. Let us know you're coming so we know who to expect!
