Our Leadership

William Eavenson, Pastor

Fr. William Eavenson is the Planting Pastor of The Mission Cincinnati.  He is married to Savannah and they look forward to welcoming a baby daughter into the world in early 2017!  William is a native of Atlanta GA, where he came to Christ through the youth ministry of Peachtree Presbyterian Church.  During his senior year in high school, he experienced a call to ministry while working as a pastoral intern at Peachtree.  He holds a BA in English with Honors and Communication from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC as well as an MDiv from Regent College in Vancouver BC.

Theologically William can be described as a charitable evangelical who values the authority of Scripture, believes in the continued activity of the Holy Spirit, seeks connection with Christians across denominations and throughout history, and is passionate about finding new ways to reach new generations in America.

William loves meeting new people.  He is an avid reader who loves playing guitar, talking college football, and nerding out about random scientific, theological, or psychological topics.  He loves climbing mountains, whitewater kayaking, and will say yes to pretty much any invitation that gets him outdoors.  If you'd like to get in touch with William, feel free to email him at william@missioncincinnati.org.

Our Oversight

The Mission Cincinnati is a church plant of The Anglican Church in North America and a member congregation of the regional Diocese of the Great Lakes.  Fr. William is thus shepherded and pastored by our Bishop, Rt. Rev. Ronald Jackson.  Within our diocese we are also a part of the Kentucky Network and William receives regular coaching from our Dean, Fr. Peter Matthews.  Several other strategic advisors provide William with regular counsel and leadership including Chris Sorensen of The Mission Chattanooga where William served for 4 years as an Associate Pastor and Church Planter in Residence.

Prayer Covering

The Mission Cincinnati is also supported by an international network of intercessors who pray for our church, our leadership, our people, and God's Kingdom work in our city.  This work of prayer is absolutely integral to our efforts to plant a church in Cincinnati that we believe will be catalytic for spiritual renewal and a Kingdom movement.  If you would like to join the Mission's intercessory team, please email william@missioncincinnati.org
